Interpretation and Education YCC Intern Program
Informal Interpretation, Visitor Contact Stations and Customer Service: Provide quality customer service and accurate, up to date information to park visitors at visitor center desks and in roving situations. When appropriate, the employee provides interpretive opportunities for visitors to forge emotional and intellectual connections to park resources. Works with a diverse public audience. In addition, oversee daily program schedule for summer interns; ensure interns stay on task; adjust schedule as needed; provide mentorship and guidance; oversee time sheet management.
