There are very interesting ways to get in touch with nature, in this case imitating owl screeches was one of them. Homestead National Monument of America hosted a night hike that not only tried to get in touch with wildlife, but also helped visitors see the stars and planets! The Prairie Astronomy Club brought out their telescopes and showed us the constellations, as well as the planets Saturn and Venus, which was all amazing to see. To the human eye, they look like tiny specks or stars, but in reality they are planets that are miles and miles away. The visitors were equally impressed and enjoyed the wildlife and grand night sky. In all it was a truly awesome experience.
