The Latino Heritage Internship Program (LHIP) engages the next generation of conservation stewards by connecting to youth to hands-0n experiences at spectacular national parks from New York to California. The program raises awareness of historic sites, protected areas, their accessibility, and the need for the Latino community's involvement in their preservation. Highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students are selected to work alongside NPS historians, interpreters, archaeologists, architects, and curators on projects at diverse sites throughout the nation.  LHIP positions are paid, 10-week experiences.

Applications are being accepted for the 2018 program. Apply now and look forward to the experience of a lifetime!
